March Madness

March 31, 2026:  No, I don't mean basketball!  I mean being in a new war, with Iran, thanks to Trump.  I keep thinking it can't get any worse, but it does.  So that is why it's madness.

So I now join the 'Women In Black' every Monday at noon.  It is a silent vigil against war and oppression, prayer for Peace and Love, and I shed many tears silently as I spend an hour each week

publicly demonstrating downtown with the Beach as a backdrop. I feel it is important.

I have gotten a 3 week vacation at the Beach house to watch Carmen the cat.  Jessica and Syd came up for a long weekend. On Thursday, we attended an event with Ian and his Mom Teena

(Ian's Ride) and I gifted them each an original watercolor and a limited ed print, that they had chosen from my website.  What an honor to meet them.  They have inspired me a lot! Teena chose the

Turtle that I chose for this entry.  On Saturday, Jessica, Syd, and I went to the No Kings march and walked home on the beach.  We had dinner here with Sappho and Shannon.  Sappho makes us

laugh lots, she gets so excited over the cat's toys!  One more amazing person I met this month is Jimmy who lives on Whidby Island.  We both play Native American flute.  I look forward to our

friendship.  (I am an elder, a year older than his Mom.)

So, March was madness, some good, some bad.  I keep praying for World Peace, and hope my art reflects that too.
