July at the Bay
JULY 13, 2026: I had a fantastic time up at the Bay with my family! My nieces and great nieces carried sand to improve a little beach area for my sister. And of course I used it a lot too! We swam and mostly floated on rafts and tubes all week. Talked, played Domino train at night, and just had a blast... literally on the 4th, as our neighbors put on a huge fireworks show.
I'm back home in WA now, at my beautiful apartment. Yesterday I spent 6 hours downtown at the beaches, picnic lunch with Lauren at a beach, beach walk to get there, an ice cream cone, and brought some art into Millstream. My herons and dragonfly sold while I was gone, along with a few smaller pieces. I'm taking in more replacements today, as I am going downtown to stand with the Women in Black, which is a silent vigil we hold every Monday at noon.
Leaving the Bay isn't such a terribly sad thing since I get to live near the water here. I am so grateful!
