A New Gallery in Town

MAY 29 2021:  A new gallery, TAKE 5, just opened up here in Port Townsend.  I met with Mara yesterday, and she chose 6 matted prints, mostly of my birds, to sell there.  I was thrilled!  Every piece of my Art that I can release from under my bed feels great!  The Hungry Heron pictured here was released and started his new life in the gallery till he finds a new home.  I hope Mara has great success with her new gallery, and I hope to be a part of that success.  It is in the Flagship Building, right on Water Street, near Quench and Better Living Through Coffee.  Stop in if you are going by, and check it out.

Today was amazing!  For the first time in 21 months there was live MUSIC on the water!  The Unexpected Brass Band played for an hour.  The weather was perfect.  People were dancing and feeling so good that the vaccines have been available and we can once again connect outside without masks.  It felt so good to be back to what once was normal in this fantastic place to live or visit.  It is Memorial Day Weekend, and sailboats were anchored in the Bay, people were eating ice cream, and for the first time in a long time, the pandemic didn't seem to be looming overhead.  It feels just great!
