Finally, Spring!

APRIL 25, 2022:  Spring has finally arrived in the Pacific NW.  Trees and flowers have been in bloom for a long while, but the temps remained chilly.  That is beginning to change.  A very welcome change at that.  After a long haul of changing locations on a consistent basis, I am home for almost 2 weeks, minus next weekend.  So I am getting a lot of gardening done and harvesting small salads of watercress, arugula, tender new raspberry and violet leaves, broccoli, asparagus, parsley, miner's lettuce and kale.  The cherry tree is in full bloom as are all of the tulips of many colors. The ferns are making new fiddle heads and I always love to see that sure sign that Spring is here.   I am grateful to be here and alive and healthy!
