Artist's Home in Summer

Acrylic   20x24      Artist proof     prints available      Limited Edition       HOUSE SOLD

This is my home in Ogdensburg.  Judge Ogden, for whom the village was named, bought this property in 1853.  It is a historic old home which also houses Laurel's Originals Gallery.  I have gardened here for 38 years and have lots of fruit trees, berries, gardens, and a greenhouse attached to the newly remodeled kitchen.  There is a view of the Engebretson Creek from the house and the deck.  We have a screen porch for sleeping in the summer. Sandhill cranes come back en mass every March, with the Great Blue Herons arriving back a little later.  We have Deer, Pileated Woodpeckers, and a variety of wildlife right outside the door. We are on the Tomorrow River State Trail for biking, walking, and snowmobiling in the winter, or you can ski right from our 1 acre yard.  We want to downsize and move to WA in August, so if you are ready to relocate to Central WI, our home is for sale.  We are located only 11.5 miles north of the Chain O'Lakes and Clearwater Harbor in King.  Just a short scenic ride.  One of the best swimming lakes, Casey Lake, is just a mere 3 miles south!  I have loved my laid-back lifestyle here for decades, and I am ready to move into my 60's in WA. where the winters are mild, I can attend my daughters' yoga classes, various workshops, and harp concerts, (they are both awesome massage therapists too) and come back to visit WI in the summers.

Moved to WA  House SOLD   This painting is still for sale.
